Terms of Service
Effective September 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of NoteCleaner: Humanize AI ("NoteCleaner," "the app"). By downloading or using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Using the App
You must be at least 13, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, to use NoteCleaner. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, governed by these Terms and by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Your Account
NoteCleaner doesn't ask for an email or password — your account is created automatically and tied to your device's App Store identity. You're responsible for the device and Apple ID it's created under, and for anything submitted through your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that abuses the service, attempts to bypass its word limits, or violates these Terms.
Acceptable Use
Don't submit text that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to share. Don't attempt to automate, scrape, or circumvent NoteCleaner's word limits or rate limits, or interfere with the service for other users. We may remove access for anyone who does.
Subscriptions and Purchases
NoteCleaner's plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through the App Store, in the currency and at the price shown there. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your Apple ID is charged for renewal within that window. Manage or cancel a subscription any time from Settings → Manage Subscription, or directly in your Apple ID account settings — NoteCleaner cannot cancel it for you. If a plan includes a free trial, it converts automatically to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends; trial eligibility is set by Apple. All purchases are billed and refunded by Apple — refund requests go through Apple's own process at reportaproblem.apple.com, not through us.
Web Accounts and Subscriptions
This section applies to the web version at app.gruppyai.app.
- Account. You sign in with your email address (a one-time code) or with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to that email or Google account secure, and for anything submitted through your account.
- Order process. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns, under Paddle's Buyer Terms.
- Billing and renewal. Web plans are auto-renewing subscriptions charged at the price shown at checkout, plus any tax that applies where you live. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from Plans & billing → Manage billing. Your plan and its remaining words stay available until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Paddle in line with Paddle's Buyer Terms and the consumer law that applies to you. You can start one by contacting us or Paddle. When a full refund of your current billing period is approved, that plan and its remaining words end.
- Separate from the app. Web subscriptions and App Store subscriptions are separate purchases with separate accounts; one does not unlock or transfer to the other.
Plans, Words, and What You Get
NoteCleaner measures usage in words — these are the credits your plan gives you. Each word of text you submit to humanize uses one credit. Every plan unlocks the same features; plans differ only in how many words they include.
Words included in each plan
| Plan | Words included | When your words renew |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 2,000 words per week | Every week, when your subscription renews |
| Monthly | 10,000 words per month | Every month, when your subscription renews |
| Yearly | 15,000 words per month (180,000 words over a full year) | Every month, counted from the date your paid year started; billed once a year |
| Yearly with free trial (app only, when offered) | 500 words in total for the whole trial | Once only. When the trial converts to a paid year, the normal 15,000 words per month begins. |
- A promotional monthly offer is the Monthly plan at a different price and includes the same 10,000 words per month.
- Web plans include the same words as the matching app plans.
- The free trial's 500 words are a total for the trial, not a daily amount. Reinstalling the app or restoring purchases doesn't add more. Apple decides who is eligible for a trial and how long it lasts, and shows both before you confirm.
- Prices depend on your country and are shown in the App Store, or at checkout on the web, before you buy.
Features included with every plan
- In the app: humanize text you type, paste, or import (PDF, Word, TXT, or RTF) in four tones — Natural, Casual, Professional, and Academic — with the language detected automatically; compare the result with your original and highlight what changed; edit, copy, share, or export it as TXT, PDF, or Word; get another version with Try Again or Adjust; keep your results in History on your device; and start faster with Quick Humanize (Shortcuts, Siri, and Spotlight) and the Home Screen widget.
- On the web: the same humanizer and four tones, the result next to your original with highlighted changes, copy and .txt download, and History saved in your browser.
- Without a plan you can still write and edit text and look through your History. Humanizing requires an active plan or free trial.
- Result indicators. The Human score and "Optimized for" detector labels on the app's result screen describe what rewrites are tuned for. They are not results from running any AI detector — we don't run third-party detectors — and we don't promise how any detector will rate your text.
How words are counted and charged
- A word is anything between spaces that contains at least one letter or number, so punctuation on its own isn't counted. Our server's count is the one that applies.
- Words are charged on the text you submit, not on the length of the rewrite you get back.
- Every successful rewrite charges the full word count of the submitted text — including another version of the same text, such as Try Again or Adjust in the app.
- If a rewrite fails, or we discard a result as unusable, no words are charged. Retrying the same request after a connection problem isn't charged twice.
- Each request needs at least 50 words and can contain up to 2,000 words and 15,000 characters. We may change these per-request limits.
- If you don't have enough words left for the whole request, it isn't processed and nothing is charged.
When words renew and end
- Your words follow your subscription dates, not the calendar: a new allowance starts when your subscription starts or renews, and every month within a yearly plan. Your remaining words and renewal date are shown in Settings in the app and on Plans & billing on the web.
- Unused words don't roll over. Each new period starts again at your plan's full allowance.
- If you cancel, your remaining words stay available until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, no plan words remain.
- If Apple places your subscription in a billing grace period while it retries a failed payment, your words stay available during that grace period.
- If a purchase is refunded, its plan and any words remaining from it end.
- If you change plans in the App Store, the new plan's words start when Apple starts the new plan, and words left from the previous plan don't carry over. On the web there is no plan switch: cancel from Plans & billing → Manage billing, then subscribe to the new plan once the current one ends.
- If we ever add extra words to your account (for example, to resolve a support request), they are used only after your plan's words for the period run out, and they don't reset when your plan renews.
- App and web accounts keep separate balances; words can't be moved between them.
Rules for words
- Words have no cash value and can't be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money. Unused words aren't refunded on their own; refunds of subscriptions are handled by Apple or Paddle as described above.
- To protect the service, we may set daily limits on an individual account, or pause its humanizing, if we see abuse such as automated use or one plan shared across many people. Words can't be used while an account is restricted, and a restriction doesn't extend your billing period.
- We may change the words a plan includes or introduce new plans. Changes apply from a new purchase, renewal, or monthly allowance, and we'll always show you what a plan includes before you subscribe.
Your Content
You own the text you submit and the text NoteCleaner returns to you. We claim no rights to it beyond what's needed to process your request and generate your result, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Service Availability
NoteCleaner's rewriting is performed in part by a third-party AI service we work with; output quality, tone, and behavior can vary and are not guaranteed. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, with or without notice, for maintenance, improvements, or reasons beyond our control.
Termination
You can stop using NoteCleaner at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, warranty disclaimers, liability limits — continue to apply.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF NOTECLEANER. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED WHAT YOU PAID FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or state of residence, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have there.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the app changes. Continuing to use NoteCleaner after an update means you accept the revised Terms; we'll update the effective date above whenever we do.
